Winter Sing-along 

We are excited to once again have our annual WDS Winter Sing-along!  

The dates and times are as follows:   

• Monday, December 18: 1:00 pm-1:30 pm (Ms. Miller’s Kindergartens performing) 
• Tuesday, December 19: 9:00 am-9:30 am (Ms. Pearson’s Kindergartens performing) 
• Wednesday, December 20: 10:30 am-11:00 am (Grades ¾ and EES performing) 
• Friday, December 22: 11:00 am-11:30 am (Grades 5/6 performing)   

There will be no Winter Sing-along on Thursday, December 21 due to our Winter Solstice Assembly at 1:45 pm. 

*Parents and families are welcome to attend the winter Sing-along each day at the times indicated above. Gymnasium Doors will open 10 minutes prior to the sing-along time each day for parents to attend. 

Winter Solstice 

In keeping with our commitment to land-based learning this year we will be hosting a winter solstice assembly on December 21 at 1:45 pm. During this assembly, the Grade 5/6 students will be sharing winter-themed songs that they have been learning about in music. There will also be a whole school song that the entire school will be singing. Student winter art will also be on display for families to view. All Families are welcome to attend this assembly. 

Project Kindness 

“Winter Wishes” cards need to be returned to the school (in the envelope provided) no later than Monday, December 11 even if you are unable to make a gift card donation. Know that adding warm wishes and kind thoughts to the envelope is a way to show support and kindness to others.
