Registration at Calgary Board of Education (CBE) schools is not determined on a first come, first served basis. Registration and admission to schools in CBE is governed by the Education Act and Administrative Regulation 6090 | Child and Student Registration and Admission

Program: Our AM program runs from 7:55 AM-11:00 AM M-TH and Fridays from 7:55 AM-11:00 AM.These times are tentative and they may change depending on enrollment numbers. If enrollment increases we may have to offer a PM program but we will not be making this decision until August

Eligibility: Children must be at least five years old as of December 31 to start kindergarten in the fall of that kindergarten year. This means that a four-year old child may start kindergarten if they will turn five on or before December 31 of that kindergarten year.

Before and After Care: West Dalhousie School is privileged to have Dalhousie Community Association before and after care program for K-6 students. Transportation: One-way transportation to school is available for kindergarten children who attend the designated school for their community and live within the established transportation service area. Transportation is provided in the morning to the AM program. There is no mid-day transportation offered for the AM program. Kindergarten Orientation will be held on May 29, 2025 at 6:00 pm for new kindergarten students and families.

MyCBE Parent Account: Once you have registered your child, you will be able to create a MyCBE Parent Account, which will provide you seamless access to pay fees, fee waivers, transportation registration, noon supervision registration, D2L Parent Access, booking school conferences and the ability to view student progress online.
