Update: I am so happy to share that we surpassed our original goal and we have raised $1320 for the Terry Fox Foundation

West Dalhousie School has come together in an effort to honor the dedication of Terry Fox and his legacy of cancer research contributions. Students have researched the heroism of Terry and the words that describe his journey to represent our grade teams. Thursday, September 21st will be our annual Terry Fox Run. We ask that students strive for the perseverance that Terry had and run for the cause. This year, WDS has organized an online donation page for your contributions to the Terry Fox Foundation for Cancer Research. Each grade team has chosen a team name and set a goal of $100 in hopes of raising a total of $500 as a community. 

Kindergarten is “Caring Kindies”

Grade ½ is team “Never Give Up!”

Grade ¾ is team “Courage”

Grade ⅚ is team “Tenacious”

EES is team “Inspire”
