Dear WDS Families,

This week, we emphasized the importance of mental health by wearing our favorite hats to support and promote good mental health for all. Additionally, our School Council held a meeting on Thursday evening. 

Looking ahead to next week, several classes will be embarking on field trips, making it a busy and exciting time for our students. Please note that Friday is a non-instructional day, and there will be no school for students. Furthermore, Monday is a holiday, Victoria Day, so there will be no school for students on that day as well. Regular classes will resume on Tuesday, May 20. 

Alien In-Line Skating Residency – Volunteers Needed 

We are excited to have Alien In-line back to WDS from May 23-June 5. Volunteers are needed to assist with setting up equipment, tying laces, and supporting students during the Alien In-line skating sessions. This residency is possible due to support from School Council. If you have your police clearance and can volunteer, please sign up below:
