Dear WDS Families,
This week we had Circle Friday. The focus this week was on Body To Do and students played the Bone Game in their groups. The Bone Game is a traditional Indigenous guessing game that was often played as part of gatherings, celebrations and celebrations. Next week in Physical Education, students will be participating in a lacrosse residency, hosted by ELEV8 Lacrosse. A friendly reminder that Daylight Savings Time starts on March 9, don't forget to turn your clocks ahead by 1 hour.

Alberta Education Assurance Survey
Every year Alberta Education conducts its annual survey of grade 4, 7, and 10 students and their parents or guardians. This survey will gather essential information about students’ and parents’ school experiences. Parents or guardians of grade 4 students should have received an email from School Improvement containing a link to the survey, along with a unique Random-Access Code and detailed instructions. We strongly encourage all eligible parents and guardians to participate and share their feedback on their children’s education. If you require a paper survey or one in another language, such as Ukrainian, Punjabi, Cree, Korean, Denesųłįné, Tagalog, Chinese, Spanish, Arabic, or Urdu, please reach out to the school via email or phone.
